Alan Cumming, Aaron Eckhart, William Hurt, Ian McKellen,
Michael Moriarty, Brittany Murphy, Nick Nolte and Cynthia
Stevenson co-star in the indie drama Neverwas. Marking the
directorial debut of writer Joshua Michael Stern, the feature follows a
Yale graduate, Zach (Eckhart) who gets a job at the mental institution
where his novelist father (Nolte) spent some time as a patient. Once
there, he meets an inmate named Gabriel (McKellen) who proves a
mysterious link to his father's hugely successful fantasy novel,
Neverwas.
