Sweet Sixteen and Still Flaming! OUTFEST '98: The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival is celebrating its sixteenth anniversary with a smorgasbord of sweet surprises in store for you. We are coming out with a vengeance with more than 250 individual films and videos in more than 100 programs that will inspire, educate and entertain you with their challenging visions of the many gay and lesbian communities of Southern California. And what would a Coming Out party be without invited guests? OUTFEST '98 promises to be our most diverse festival yet with more foreign films than ever before, representing more than 25 countries. Our new Spotlight programme, which will be inaugurated in the new theater at the LA Gay and Lesbian Center's Village at Ed Gould Plaza, highlights work by and about African Americans, Asian Americans, Latino/as, queer youth and seniors.
